The Riva Anniversario is a tribute to the Cantiere di Sarnico’s legendary 180-year story.
The model’s exterior design takes its inspiration from the classic profile of the Acquariva (which celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2022 and remains in production). In other words, it is clothed in clean pure lines and has beautifully balanced volumes with a slew of styling details that reference the refined styling of the Aquarama (which celebrated its 60th anniversary in 2022).
That said, Anniversario is no mere nostalgic replica, but a brand-new, highly exclusive model, which like all true objects of desire, will be available as a strictly limited edition (just 18 will be built).
It brims with references to Riva tradition, all of which have been cleverly redesigned in their spare beauty and exist in perfect harmony with the myriad details that make this a contemporary craft even at first sight. The lines of the bridge may evoke the past but its instrumentation is absolutely awash with the most advanced technology. Details inspired by the past but given a very modern twist abound too: the windshield design, the way lights and the round skylights. To retain the design’s formal purity, certain functional details have been hidden from view: the air intakes, for instance, have been painted while the handrails are now integrated. To maintain a strong link with Riva tradition, the designers made maximum use of polished mahogany and steel on deck.
